Safety Through Advocacy

Protecting the elderly & vulnerable

JOHNSON MOORE

Nearly 1 in 10 elderly people will suffer abuse or neglect at the hands of another each year. Most victims of elder abuse are unable to protect their rights and cannot “fight back” against their abusers. Unfortunately, many families of elderly victims see things they know aren’t right (they feel it in their gut), but most of the time they also do nothing. This is due to fear, misinformation, intimidation, and a lack or resources.  Doing this for 25 years we have learned that “behavior rewarded is behavior repeated”, so we seek to hold wrongdoers accountable.

We fight back.

PRACTICE AREAS

While we are highly selective in the cases we take, we pride ourselves in taking the time to listen. Although all of our cases are “large” we analyze cases in a unique way, and some of our largest verdicts and settlements come in cases that other lawyers reject, and insurance companies or defendants minimize. In fact, just three of our Ventura County trial verdicts (Arellano, Medina & Matthews) resulted in total verdicts of over $14.3 Million dollars, and in each case no offer was made before trial.
